Supriya Kumari to make her film debut with Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami

Television’s favorite daughter Supriya Kumari who rose to fame with Balaji Telefilm’s popular show Bairi Piya is climbing the ladder of success with the film ‘Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami’. Supriya Kumari, a renowned Indian Television actress from Ranchi, Jharkhand is all set to make her silver screen dreams sparkle with her first Bollywood film set for release. After coming to Mumbai, Supriya got her first break in ‘Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo’. During her stint, she caught the eye of Balaji Telefilms and bagged the lead role in ‘Bairi Piya’ as Amoli which then went on to become a resounding success. Post ‘Bairi Piya’, television welcomes her with open arms and she bagged quite number of other projects in Television. Not only has Supriya succeeded in the television fiction spaces, she also left her indelible mark on reality television with shows like Nachle Ve hosted by Saroj Khan and Terence Lewis (choreographer), Laughter ke Phatke and Kichen Champion 2. After creating a niche for herself on Television, Supriya is all set to make it big on the silver screen with her debut film Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami which has been directed by Ravindra Gautam and produced by Abhinav Shukhla and where she plays a pivotal role as Anupam Kher's daughter-in-law. The film has already made its presence felt among industry veterans and Supriya's portrayal has been appreciated by those that have had a sneak preview of the film. The film is releasing on 10th October 2014.
