Anas Rashid who will be seen in the upcoming show Diya Baati certainly understands the importance of money. The Aise Karo Na Vida star shares his investment fundas in a candid interview with TellyChakkar.
How important is money to you?
Money is one of the most important things for me but it does not rate over my family.
Are you an impulsive buyer?
Yes, sort of.
What are the investments you have made?
I have bought some land in my home town. I am one of those jai jawan jai kisan types. I like farming.
What is your most expensive purchase?
I had bought a Versace T-shirt once for Rs 65,000.
Do you feel financially secure?
No. I do have roti, kapda and maakan but I still do not feel secure. I feel even if you have everything in today’s times, you cannot really claim to be secure.
Who handles your expenses?
I have been handling my expenses ever since I was in standard 10.
What was your first salary?
My first salary was Rs 300 and I had earned it while working at my uncle’s factory when I was in standard 10. I had spent all the money on me.
How much money do you carry every day?
I just carry Rs 5,000 in my wallet as I don’t need more cash as I have my cards.
Any advice for investors…
I would say invest in places where not only you but also others can make profit. Just don’t invest it for the sake of earning interest.
