The classy Gauri Khan celebrates her 44th birthday today. Born on 8 October, 1970, Gauri has today emerged out of the shadow of her formidable husband, Shah Rukh Khan, and come into her own as a successful interior designer and film producer. SRK's arm extensions and dimpled smile is enough to make women go weak in their knees but Gauri certainly was not impressed when she saw him for the first time. The first meeting happened when Gauri saw SRK in an auditorium and she thought of her future husband as quite ugly. Her second meeting with SRK happened at a party and Gauri didn't like him at all then too. It wasn't love at first sight for her. The ice was finally broken after a few more meetings and love gradually happened.
According to Gauri, SRK was caring and obsessed about her in a way that she could treat him like a slave.
