Viral fever keeps Katrina away from Bigg Boss

This is perhaps one of those rare occasions when a film will be promoted on a reality show almost a week after its release. The makers of Bang Bang had earlier decided against using the platforms of reality shows to promote their film. Reportedly, Bigg Boss (Colors) was the one of the shows that showed a keen interest in getting Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif to grace their show but apparently the movie's producers shot down the idea. Someone even suggested that Hrithik's perhaps going Aamir Khan’s way by letting the film talk for itself rather than hard-selling it on reality shows. But now after the box-office numbers have declared the film a huge blockbuster, Hrithik has banged the doors of Bigg Boss for more publicity. Sources suggest that it's the movie producers who mooted the proposal this time around. Unfortunately, missing in action would be Katrina Kaif. When asked why she wouldn't be making an appearance on Bigg Boss, the pretty actress said, "I have not met Hrithik after the release of the movie. I have been down with this terrible viral fever. Hrithik had asked me to come to Bigg Boss but I didn't have the strength to pull myself out of bed. I also missed a few channel interviews yesterday. Thankfully, I am a little better now." Well, all we can say is the fever was ill-timed. Before the release of the movie, in an interview with us, Katrina had said that it was not her decision to not promote Bang Bang on Bigg Boss. “It's the marketing team that decides and not me. So wherever they ask us to go, we do. It's not in my hands to tell them where we should be going to promote our movie.” Wonder what Captain Salman Khan feels about about Katrina's absence.
