Worshipp Khanna bags a new show

Worshipp Khanna, who has earlier been part of Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum, has bagged a new show titled Parwaaz on DD Urdu. It is produced by M Kumar's Production Pvt. Ltd. . Interestingly, this show is also a lot like Diya Aur Baati… where a girl (played by newbie Afreen Khan) educates herself in spite of family’s reluctance and goes on to become an IPS officer. Coincidentally, as reported by us, Zee Zindagi is also coming up with a new show with the same above title Parwaaz, with Priyal Gor as the lead. Moving on, Worshipp will play a tutor Arif Khan who will educate Afreen (Tabbassum) and help her achieve her dreams. Shared Worshipp, “This is for the first time that I have taken up a Urdu show. I play the role of a teacher who will help Tabbassum to study and carve her career. After a lot of struggle she will become an IPS officer and then her family will realise the importance of education. We have already begun shooting at a village near Benaras..” The show is directed by Muzamil Ji Desai. Parwaaz is slated to launch somewhere in December.
