In Diwali, one should burst ego, not crackers - Hiten Tejwani

Hiten Tejwani
TV's most loved beta and pati, Hiten Tejwani will now be playing in Box Cricket League (BCL), and is gearing up for the tournament. Also, Diwali this year was a family affair for the actor. Said Hiten, “It was a traditional meal with relatives, followed by lighting up 'phooljaris' and diyas in the evening. I usually do not indulge in bursting bombs and crackers as I am against noise and pollution. I hope everybody had a safe and pollution-free Diwali. Burst your ego and not crackers." As a cricket buff while growing up in Mumbai, the actor would never have imagined that he would one day be playing in Box Cricket League (BCL). The celebrity league comprises of small screen’s famous names and the sports-reality show will be telecast soon, under Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms. "This season is going to be bigger and better. You'll get to see some interesting locker room drama," averred Tejwani. With every actor worth his greasepaint opting for a stay inside the Bigg Boss house, we asked Hiten why he has shied away from it. "There's no reason, really. I can't stay at one place for a long time and that too in confinement. It won't be possible for me to stay away from friends and family for such a long period.” While talking about his wife, we couldn't help asking when the 'Kutumb' couple would make a comeback on the small screen. "As soon as we have the right script and role," he said. While discussing his future projects, he didn't reveal much as he hasn't signed anything as of now. But he has a couple of projects in the pipeline that he will be talking about soon. Let's hope that he comes up with something awesome soon!
