Harsh Vashisht, Farida Dadi, Monaz Mevawala roped in for Optimystix' show on Disney

The channel for tiny-tots and kids, Disney will be revamping with a brand new programming line-up sometime in February 2015. We have already reported about Cinevistaas Ltd. and Beyond Dreams Entertainment coming up with light-hearted family dramas for the channel. Now, Optimystix Entertainment gears up for their next big show on Disney. The show titled Maan Na Maan Main Tera Mehmaan will be a light-hearted drama with high dose of entertainment as well as emotions. The episodes of the finite series will send out unique messages to children. The USP of the show will be the flavour of ‘magic’ present in its storyline. Coming to the cast of the show, we hear that veteran actor Farida Dadi will play one of the pivotal roles. Known actors Harsh Vashisht and Monaz Mevawala have been roped in too. According to our source, “Farida Dadi will essay the role of the granny in the show, who along with her husband (fresh face), will have two sons and two daughters-in-law. The role of the younger son will be played by Harsh Vashisht (Doli Armaanon Ki), and Monaz Mevawala (Meet Mila De Rabba) will play his wife.” The show has already gone on floor, with the actors busy shooting for it. When contacted, Producer Vipul Shah confirmed the news stating, “Yes we are launching a new show on Disney channel titled Maan Na Maan Main Tera Mehmaan. But it is too early to comment on it.” We also contacted Farida Dadi who replied in the affirmative saying, “I am doing the show, but I cannot talk about it now.” We also tried contacting Harsh and Monaz, but they remained unavailable to comment.
