Ek Main Aur Ek Tu has model and actor Upen Patel as guest judge on the show this Friday. Nervous about his debut film 36 China Town release on 5 May, talking to Tellychakkar.com Upen says, “ I have watched some episodes of the Challenge 2005 series and am impressed by the young singing talent. I am looking forward to watching them up close and live.”
Confident that his unmistakable UK accent will not be a hindrance to him being accepted in the industry he says, “Knowing little Hindi is not going to be a stumbling block, what with John Abraham, Bipasha, Dino Moreo showing the way that there is no stopping talent.”
“I will continue brand endorsements but, signing seven films is going to keep me busy and part of Bollywood,” says Upen.
Hearing the jodis perform, Upen says, “I Identify with them as like them I too am staying away from my family, chasing my dreams of making it big in the industry. They sing so well, they amaze me.”
Upen performs some breathtaking smooth dance steps and has the jodis trying those steps backstage. Handing out CD’s to all of the film, Upen manages to create a stir on the sets.
