If you're happy from inside, it shows on your face and body: Bhagyashree

Bhagyashree
Bhagyashree will always be remembered for her work in Maine Pyaar Kiya and the actress is well aware of this fact. But it hasn't stopped her from entering the small screen space. After a hiatus, she is back on TV with Life OK’s Laut Aao Trisha and she sure is enjoying her stint here. “So far, I am enjoying it. It’s always good to get back to work,” states the actress. You will be shooting more hours these days, now that your show is airing for an hour, three days a week? “I’d say that I liked the initial working hours. The schedule has got hectic these days. And trust me I wouldn’t want to get used to it." Is the hectic 12-hour shift constraining family time? “It was my daughter who pressurised me to take up work soon after she shifted to London for further studies. She had told me that ‘aap mere bina bikhar jaoge’. And there is emptiness when the birds fly off the nest so, I had to take something that was interesting to me. So, I am enjoying working," she says. Do you keep a tab on the TRPs? Does the fluctuation bother you? “I usually have no idea about it and I don’t even bother to look into it for I am not waiting for an end result. One must take life as it comes and this is something that you learn along the way. There was this saying on a hoarding – 'child gives birth to a mother'. Trust me, it’s true. When you look at a child you learn to forgive and get over depression as none of these matters to them. Similarly, I like working and getting back home to my family.” The actress has always looked like a million bucks, so what is her fitness mantra? She states, “My husband Himalaya is into fitness and he inspires me a lot. Moreover, I’ve been a hands-on mom, which has never given me the time to laze around. I also love travelling and that requires great energy levels hence, I try my best to be on my toes. I even feel that if you’re happy from inside, it shows on your face and body.” “I eat all that I like and then burn it out in the gym. I don’t believe in a diet but eating right. I also don’t like fried food therefore, half my battle is won there. Most importantly, I feel overdoing anything can harm your body so one must always draw a line somewhere,” she concludes. Signing off, the actress states, “What shows outside is what we are inside. All the issues and worries that we face are a part of the journey, learn from them and move on.” There is indeed a lot to learn from this lady. Cheers to Bhagyashree.
