This is one show which is generating a lot of drama...well, off screen, even before it's launched!
The Sony show, Rishton Ki Dorr, which was recently in the news because of a change (Sony show gets makeover before launch) in nomenclature and duration, is at it again -- its lead, Anupama Verma has bid adieu to the show, after having shot for a few days!
"Yes, I have decided not to do the show because we (she and the producers, Adhikari brothers) could not come to a mutual financial settlement," says Anupama, whose character will now be played by Urvashi Dholakia.

Anupama, who was to play Anuj Saxena's wife in the show, has already shot for a while. It's not clear why she agreed to shoot without the payment details being worked out. "I was always very clear from the beginning about what I wanted...but they were unclear...It's just that I haven't changed my mind!" points out the actor, who adds that there is no bad blood with the production house.
Meanwhile, Urvashi Dholakia, was not the only actor approached to play the part, our sources reveal that Narayani Shastri was also offered the same!
"It's a great role. Nyonika has shades of grey and she is not as larger than life as Komolika in Kasauti..." says Urvashi, who shot for the promos on Monday with costar Anuj Saxena on Monday.
