His comic capers on celluloid may have tickled your funny bone till a couple of years ago.
Now Chunky Pandey gets ready to play Rokkky, and host his own show Rokkky Mera Naam, on Sahara's forthcoming TV channel Filmy, that launches 12 February.
As Rokkky, Chunky will take on Bollywood's superstars (though not in their original forms), in his interview show. Natty, zany, irreverent and an incorrigible flirt - that's Chunky's brief for being Rokkky!

Giving him company on Filmy are Vinay Pathak, Purvi Joshi and Sunil Grover, all of whom will host a unique weekly show, all their own. Taking off on Sohaib Ilyasi's Most Wanted sting operations, Purvi turns Ruchi Reporter, who hosts Personal Se Sawal Karti Hai, a gossip show htat has hard talking interviews, exposes and all that - but with a twist.
Newcomer to TV, Sunil Grover turns Lallan, supposedly a star struck migrant from Jaunpur, who's come to Mumbai with stars in his eyes. He hosts Chala Lallan Hero Ban-ne, a light filmy comedy in which Lallan will offer his takes on several Bollywood superstars.
Another weekly show that will mark Filmy is Lal Gulab - The Red Don, which will be hosted by ace stand up comic Vinay Pathak. The quirky and psychotic Don will enthral with his soft corner for celluloid villains through the years.
