When Amrapali Gupta almost wept on her birthday!

Amrapali Gupta

Zee TV’s show Qubool Hai (4 Lions Productions)  may be producing enough melodrama onscreen for its viewers but its leading lady herself got a real and firsthand experience of the same when she burst into tears today on her birthday. Infact, our sources reveal that it was a real rona-dhona episode that unfolded on sets today.

It so happens that our birthday girl Amrapali Gupta wanted to wrap up her shoot ASAP to join her husband Yash Sinha for some special birthday celebration. Keeping in with the call time of 9 am, Amrapali arrived on sets early and was all ready to shoot within the next 40 minutes. Unfortunately, the actress was asked to stay put in her vanity van as the production unit was busy filming their Maha-episode. A good hour and half passed before the poor lady was finally called for her scenes. And when the shoot ultimately happened, the crew started off by filming a few close-up shots of Amrapali which, according to our source, could have well been taken earlier as well while the actress was sitting idle.  As the realization of the same dawned on Amrapali, she almost broke down to tears ruing the precious loss of time on her birthday for no fault of hers.

Informs a close hand, “While giving her shot, the otherwise chirpy Amrapali grew very emotional and nearly broke down as her husband was waiting for her since long expecting her early arrival. Both had made some special birthday plans and Amrapali too had planned her day accordingly to meet him as early as possible after work.”

We tried reaching Amrapali for a comment but the birthday girl remained unavailable. Our texts to members of production unit also went unanswered.
