Love in Australia: BCCI gives Anushka green signal to be with Virat

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma

BCCI has finally decided to allow WAGs (Wives and Girlfriends) of Indian cricketers to fly down to Australia and spend time with their respective beaus. This is a complete reversal from the earlier decision of the board to allow just wives to join their cricketer husbands on tour.

As per the new notification, wives and girlfriends will be allowed to be with their men for a maximum of 15 days. However, this new privilege also comes with certain restrictions applicable only to girlfriends. While they can certainly cheer for their boyfriends from the stands and stay in the same hotel, they won't be allowed to share the same room. The conservative BCCI has arranged same room stay only for wives. Perhaps, BCCI still believes in no sex before marriage!

It is believed that 12 WAGs are packing their bags and one among them is reportedly Anushka Sharma. Tellychakkar.com had first reported on the possibility of Anushka joining Virat Kohli in Australia post the release of PK to ring in the New Year.

Anushka when asked by us had then refused to comment on the possibility of her joining Virat down under.

With BCCI clearing the decks, we are sure Anushka will be more than eager to join her boyfriend who perhaps needs some instant morale boosting at the moment.
