Genelia D’Souza to host Big Switch on Bindass

The latest b-town actress to jump on to the television bandwagon is Genelia D’souza of Jaane tu ya jaane na fame. All set to play host on the show which has 10 contestants who have enjoyed all the luxuries in life and will now live in a Mumbai slum. These 10 contestants are rich and spoilt brats who will have to outperform their counterparts to win the contest. Informs a source, “10 rich brats from the age-group of 19-23, hailing from film, business and other prosperous families will give up their plush life-style as they enter the reality show. They will share their living space with 10 slum dwellers in a slum. And the one who will be able to fight against all the odds thus overpowering all his co-contestants will be declared the winner. The tasks would include rag-picking, cooking and washing. The highlight of the show is that unlike other reality shows, the winner will not take the booty home but will get to fulfill one wish of a slum participant.” The show produced by Endemol India is a series of 13 episodes and will launch on 24 October and air on weekends.
