After his stint in Channel V’s Sadda Haq, actor Kunal Pant has now taken up a challenging role in Life OK’s Savdhan India in its ongoing mini-series ‘Ek Kissa Paanch Hisse’.
In the first story that is being aired from yesterday (5 January), Kunal plays the character of Abhay, a guy who belongs to the royal family where all members are disturbed by the murders happening in the house. Kunal is paired opposite Mahhi Vij in the story.
Talking about his character in the five part story produced by Rowdy Rascals, Kunal told us, “It is a very interesting role, because I play a more mature guy who is very composed, suave and royal.”
And to break the boyish image that he has, the creative team gave Kunal a new look, with a moustache.
“Yes, the look is indeed special as it breaks my boyish image. It is for the first time that I sport an artificial moustache, and trust me, it is not easy at all to bear an artificial moustache on the face. Having said this, the moustache works wonders for the character, as it brings the correct look and helps me to have more belief in my role. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and this role gave me the scope to explore myself as an actor,” he stated.
The story of Savdhan India deals with the first wife of Abhay suddenly disappearing, post which the body gets found, which is followed by the death of another family member.
