We have all seen the love and bond between four on-screen sisters in Colors’ popular show Shastri Sisters (Shakuntalam Telefilms). To know more about their equation off screen we paid a visit to the sets of Shastri Sisters.

The entire cast seems to have a gala time on sets and they shared with us how they spend their time over there when they are not shooting.

The entire cast including Neha (Alka), Sonal (Devyani), Pragati (Peeya) are self claimed foodies, who mostly have food together. Sharing an incident Sonal commented, “I remember one day, we decided to have our lunch together so, everyone gathered in one room and we removed the mattress of the bed and used it as a table and sat on the floor to eat.”

The youngest one in the lot, Pragati, even in a rather witty manner mentioned, “We come here on the set to mostly have food and occasionally we work. I even remember once our director asked ‘Agar khana ho gaya toh thoda kaam bhi kar le?’ (If you all are done with your lunches then let’s do some work).”

If eating together was not enough then the entire cast also has their own jam sessions.

Oh yes, you heard it right. Rajesh Jais (Narayan Shastri) along with Ishita Ganguly and Neha Pednekar have their own musical time. Neha shared, “We three often gather in our make-up rooms and start singing. If anyone fails to remember the lyrics or tune, the other helps that person or sometime we simply improvise,” (laughs).

It’s really nice to see four women sharing such a nice bond together off-screen without having so called cat-fights.
