& TV is gearing up towards its big launch, and with it, the channel will surely top the headlines in the next coming weeks for its interesting line-up of shows to be made available for viewers.
As we know, Swastik Productions, makers of the epic series Mahabharat are making a magnum-opus show on the life and journey of Razia Sultan.
Actress Bhavna Chauhan who has done movies like Hasee Toh Phasee, Jai Ho will play the parallel lead in the show.
She will essay the elder sister of Razia (Pankhuri Awasthy), by name Shazia. Unlike Razia who would be a tomboy by nature, Shazia will be seen in a glamorous avatar, and will have the look of a princess.
With the passage of time, Shazia will also fall in love with the slave Altunia (male lead played by Rohit Purohit), thus giving rise to a love triangle between Razia, Altunia and Shazia.
We tried calling Bhavna, but could not get through to her. She was also seen recently in a Hindu-Muslim love story with Ruslaan Mumtaz on Yeh Hai Aashiqui.
