Roy will mark the return of Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal on the celluloid after Rajneeti where they played brothers. While Arjun is elder to Ranbir both in terms of age and experience, the former has no qualms in admitting that the Kapoor scion is a remarkably talented actor.
Lavishing praise on Ranbir, Arjun says, "Ranbir is a phenomenal actor. It is his approach to acting that ends up creating a great experience in the minds of people. Age and experience has got nothing to do with it."
Commenting more on his working style in Roy, Arjun elaborates, "He works hard and has played his role with great maturity. He is not boyish in this film. Mard lagta hain. You will find a lot of intensity in his role."
Arjun who has worked with Ranbir earlier in Rajneeti believes that the Kapoor lad has grown more quiet over the years now. "Ranbir hasn't changed much. He is more or less the same which is good. But he has become a lot more quiet now in fact matured. But he has a bad sense of humour. He cracks a lot of jokes but that is only between us."
Arjun who has had the good occasion of working with both Ranbir and his father Rishi Kapoor says that the son is living up to his father's dream. "Ranbir and Rishi both are fabulous actors and Ranbir is certainly living up to his father's dream. He has his own style and doesn't imitate or copy anyone. Rishi is a people's person whereas Ranbir is more quiet, introvert and not exactly a people's person."
