Actress Navni Parihar who came up with the brilliant portrayal of a woman clad in her bridal attire, looking out for her husband to come back to her even after years of marriage in Colors’ Bani – Ishq Da Kalma will now don the role of a sweet and affectionate mom for & TV’s show Badi Devrani, produced by Shashi-Sumeet Productions.
Navni will play mother to the female protagonist, Megha Chakraborthy. The show will see Mudit Nayar essaying the male lead’s role.
A reliable source states, “Navni will be paired opposite Chetan Pandit (reported by us). Their family will be that of a Marwari family who will have a modern approach to living life. Chetan and Navni will have two daughters – the eldest being the lead of the show (Megha) and the youngest daughter, played by Ekroop Bedi who was last seen in Colors’ Bani.”
When contacted, Navni confirmed the news stating, “Yes, I will play the soft and sweet mother of the lead girl. I am enjoying being part of the show. I now look forward to & TV’s launch.”
The other cast of the show includes Daya Shankar Pandey, Jyoti Gauba, Reena Kapoor, Raju Shrestha, Nikhil Sharma Shubhi Ahuja.
As we know, & TV will launch on 2 March 2015.
