The industry has become more receptive - Jyoti Patel

Jyoti Patel

The beautiful Jyoti Patel who has been part of shows like Krishnaben Khakhrawala, Crime Patrol, Savdhan India and many more is currently shuttling between her two projects shows- Paltan on DD national and Aastha on Sahara One.

Talking about it, Jyoti said, “It is a wonderful experience working with two great production teams. Both the shows have me in very different avatars and that just adds to my career graph.”

The shows are interesting, but there is a lack of visibility it terms of popularity of the channels: “Of course, the difference is there but I think that’s how the industry works. But thankfully the difference is only when it comes to reach, otherwise the production houses treat us like any other regular GEC actor.”

Jyoti also is happy with the audience response received from her shows Savdhan India and Crime Patrol. “You won’t believe but traffic policemen stop and tell me that they know me; it’s a really nice feeling (smiles). But that doesn’t mean I would only stick to episode for visibility as I am passionate as an actor and I really enjoy and respect my work.”

Since Jyoti has been in the industry for close to nine years we asked whether she has seen any changes in the industry. “Changes are there definitely but thankfully all for the good. I think the industry has become much receptive in terms of new content and actors; and that makes a difference to all. Also technology has acted as a boon with work getting done very efficiently now.”

All the best, Jyoti!!!
