It is these romantic moments from Hindi cinema that MAX2 is bringing to its viewers this Valentine’s week. The channel plans on taking viewers on a romantic escapade and has lined up a series of romantic movies titled ‘Love ne bana de Jodi’ for viewers, beginning 8th February until 14thFebruary. Consisting of classics from the 1950s till the 1990s the movie festival will pluck at the heart strings of viewers. The channel which stands for bringing alive the magic of great Indian cinema, aims to celebrate this Valentine’s week by showcasing evergreen romantic films of Indian cinema.
Comprising of iconic films ranging from ‘Chori Chori’ to ‘Silsila’ to ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak,’ the movie festival will charm the viewers this festival with 7 romantic movies. ‘Love ne bana de jodi’ will culminate on Valentine’s Day with the romantic blockbuster ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’. The movies showcased feature thespians like Raj Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nargis Dutt, Rekha, Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla, Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan in their most memorable performances. With movies spanning decades, the festival depicts the timelessness of love resonating with the positioning of the channel.
