Earlier in the day we reported that Jignesh Joshi and Ekta Tiwari have been roped in for an episodic of Colors show Code Red. Now we bring you the news that popular television actors Mazher Sayed and Shalini Chandran will also feature for another episodic of the same show.
Code Red which mostly focuses on various social issues will show the journey of young couple going through an emotional turmoil in life.
When we contacted actor Mazher Sayed, he confirmed the news and said, “Unlike other episodes of the same show, this is an unconventional story. It is an emotional love story of a couple and the realizations they have through their journey.”
“The story is based on a real life couple and I believe it is very much realistic and relatable for modern couples. I have earlier worked with Shalini in an episodic of Savdhan India, where I played the role of a cruel husband, but here my character is different from that one,” added the actor.
Produced by Shreya Productions the episode entitled as ‘Marriages are made in heaven’ will air on 16 February.
