Mansi Srivastava talks about love, romance and Valentine’s Day

With her character Shatabdi making people go gaga over her in her show Peterson Hill (Garima Productions) on SAB TV, Tellychakkar.com decided to quiz Mansi Srivastava and learn about her love life. So is she the centre of attraction among guys? “I think every girl somewhere does experience this while growing up. During school and college days, it’s all cute and mushy when your eyes meet with someone or somebody gifts you cards and flowers, so it’s all been a breezy one.” Recalling a scary experience, Mansi shares, “When I was in school and used to go for my tuitions on my two-wheeler, a goon set his eyes on me and followed me. Strangely I had no clue of the same until a male friend once came to me and told me that the guy had visited his house and warned him and his parents that my friend should stay away from me. That was really a weird experience.” Talking about the positivity in love, the actress quips, “I feel love is all about giving rather than receiving. And yes, a mutual feeling is necessary for any relationship to work. Also I feel love is all about sacrificing; and this I am saying out of experience.” And what does Valentine’s Day mean to her? “I think Valentine’s Day is all about love in all forms. And one should give love to whosever they are connected with. I think the day should be all about sharing happiness and love among your friends, family and of course your partner.” So do you have any memories related to the day? “I don’t think one day is enough to show your love to your partner. But yes, one memory that I have is during school a guy gifted me a CD of love songs. I listened to all the beautiful numbers for a day and returned the CD back the next day (laughs).” Talking about her idea of a perfect date, Mansi shares, “I think being on the cruise or on an island with your dream man would be a perfect setting. Getting lost like the couple in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, for me is the most romantic thing.” And finally the girl ends by saying, “I think our show is also spreading cheers all along with our fresh and sweet content. It is not just a stressbuster for me as an actor but I think anyone who watches it will be filled with positivity.” Cheers to that Mansi!!!
