Friendship is all about good moments and memories, but it’s also about constructive collective work, often to the degree of excellence.
TV’s two young actors and best of friends Yuvraj Thakur (MTV Fanaah) and Lavin R Gothi (Bade Achhe Lagte Hai) decided to pool in their talent to shoot a short film called Filling in the blanks. The film talks about how some lives have stopped post 26/11, after they lost their loved ones in the deadly terrorist attack. The film also stars their good friend Abigail Jain.
Sharing more information on the same, Yuvraj said, “This was always in my plan. I am someone who admires the work of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon who direct and write their own projects. And rather than cribbing about how the industry does not bring out fresh content, I chose to do it myself. So every now and then I plan to take a break from acting and indulge in my directorial cravings (smiles).”
“I have already done two films which have been well appreciated. Lavin, who is a very close friend, had seen my work and he decided to come on board and produce Filling in the blanks. I wrote and directed the film and Abigail and Lavin have done a wonderful job as the leads. I am really happy with the response that I have managed to get from my fans and friends. I am already working on a feature film script. We plan to do more such projects in the coming days,” averred the young actor.
Lavin echoed the same thought and said, “It was an amazing experience and we had the most wonderful time shooting for it. Since we were producing it we actually fought hard to keep the budget in place. Also keeping a tab on Yuvraj’s mood and temper was quite difficult (laughs). But we are the best of friends and are all set to further take our association by doing many more films, we have loads of plans let’s see how it all works out.”
Wish you guys a great time ahead!!!
