Face off between Vishwas and Rajeev

This Thursday's episode of Ek Main Aur Ek Tu has a spat between Vishwas and Rajeev as they argue on public voting. With the judges and the jodis voicing strong opinions on viewer feedback, Rajeev and Sanchali were determined to prove that they had earned every vote. Rajeev had become emotional in the episode aired two weeks back and stopped midway in last week's episode. And, despite these fumbling performances, they rule this week.
Rajeev and Sanchali achieve a hat trick, getting the highest votes from viewers in India for the third consecutive week. Backstage, disappointment was writ large over the other jodi's faces as Shaan and Ishita revealed the best jodi this week. And, it was here that all reacted. The Groovy Guru's Hariharan and Leslie Lewis and most of the participating jodi's took umbrage to the fact that the viewers were not reacting to the judges rankings and their performances. Vishwas did not mince words and said, "We are losing heart in practising as the viewers are not acknowledging our efforts. I want to know where we are going wrong in pleasing the viewer's despite getting the judges pat of approval." Rajeev reacts saying that all should learn to accept the viewer's decision gracefully because annoying or saying anything negative about the public will just reduce one's chances to get votes from the public. Shaan & Ishita try to calm them down but, to no avail. Twinkle is clear that it is important to sing well first and get their guru's blessings, and in the long run whatever be the viewer's decision, their efforts will bear fruits. Saptak urged viewers to vote so that they encourage the jodis to perform better. But, on a lighter note most wanted tips from Rajeev on how to get viewers support. With criticism that the voting process of Challenge 2005 had launched a sms war between supporters of Debojit in Assam and Vinit in Lucknow, creator, producer, director Gajendrra Siingh had changed the judging process for the new series Ek Main Aur Ek Tu where 60 per cent of a jodi's performance would be based on public votes and 40 per cent would constitute the judges decision. Rajeev and Sanchali go on to sing a R D Burman hit song 'Sanam Teri Kasam' and did they quieten their detractors this time. Watch this space.
