Chunky has a Filmy birthday party!

Chunky 'Rokkky' Pandey celebrated his birthday in style on 28 April in Roof Top, Sahara One Towers in suburban Mumbai. The guest list included all his comarades in arms - Purvi Joshi, Chunky Pandey, Vinay Pathak and Sunil Grover. Added to the list is the latest entrant on Sahara, Maninee De, who hosts Sahara One's cricket show, Not Just Cricket. Also present was cricketer, Mohinder Amarnath, who was seen having a good time. Apart from this, Amrita Saluja Raichand was announced the host of Aaj Ki Filmy Khabar on Filmy. Filmy also announced the launch of Rokkky 99, which is a new countdown show. Everything about Rokkky's birthday smelled of innovation. Right from the invitation to the media (a box full of balloons) to the spectacular Birthday cake, which was a life size 3-tier artificial cake, which opened to reveal a hostess carrying the actual cake. Not stopping at that, each of the three anchors then presented outrageous gifts. Lallan, being concerned about Rokkky's health presented him with a goat from his village. Rokkky's birthday celebration is also linked to a contest and a programming initiative. Filmy had a contest running from 8 to 25 April to hunt for Rokkky's Best Mate, with whom he would celebrate his birthday on-air on 30 April. The lucky winner of the contest was Nikhat QUereshi from Mumbai.
