The atmosphere is quite murky on the sets of Colors’ Hamari Saas Leela as it is mixed with anger and fear. We have already reported that the show is all set to go off air on September 16 and the news hasn’t gone down well with the lead of the show Apara Mehta aka Leela. And to add to the woes, people have been experiencing some supernatural activities on the sets. Apara Mehta is upset with the recent developments. “I am definitely not happy with the way things are shaping up. The show was supposed to be a comic one and not a family drama. I feel the makers should have had faith in the show and not changed its concept. Even the time at which the show is being aired affects its outcome. Though they say that the prime time slot has changed but I believe it hasn’t.” She further adds, “The media had criticised a show like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi for being regressive but in my opinion shows showing child marriages are more regressive. But if this is the kind of content the viewers want to see and the makers are providing such content then they both should be held responsible.” To make matters worse the cast and crew on the sets have been experiencing some paranormal activity. Our source informs, “Today around 12 in the afternoon there was a blast after which a ‘softy’ light fell on the floor and it caught fire. Though the fire was brought under control and the shooting resumed in twenty minutes the accident scared the actors on the sets as it hasn’t happened for the first time. The production people believe that the set is haunted as they have experienced such things before. They were happy that no one got injured in the mishap.” Priyamvada Kant aka Kirti confirmed the incident and said, “We have heard of such incidents on the sets before but it has happened in front of me for the first time. The ‘softy’ light was about to fall on my head but I moved at the last moment. Thankfully the fire was brought under control and nobody was hurt.” This end is surely an eerie one …and we thought it was a comic show!
