Mitwa extended to fill in for AKK

The news of the conclusion of Aap Ki Kachehri – Kiran ke saath season two is a blessing in disguise for Mitwa – Phool Kamal Ke. The show that airs at 7:30 pm for half an hour will now be an hour long show once Kachehri ends. Sources from Mitwa… see it as a drive to popularise the show which hasn’t picked up ever since its launch. Informs a source from Mitwa, “The show will now run for one hour after Kachehri ends. Mitwa hasn’t been able to generate the required TRPs and the channel is hoping that the latest development will attract the viewers. We have already started shooting accordingly and expect the extension to take place in the second week of October.” Confirming the news, lead actress Tanvi Bhatia of Mitwa says, “Yes, we will be airing for an hour for approximately 15 days. We haven’t got the date of its airing for an hour but it is sometime in the first two weeks of October. After 15 days we would return to half an hour.” We sent a text to Anupama Mandloi, Sr. Creative Director Star Plus, but she didn’t reply.
