The assembled film dignitaries rattled off well rehearsed speeches backing Aman, who himself entered Mehboob Studios 45 minutes late, wearing dark glasses. Shah Rukh Khan, who Aman had said would be present at the meet, did not put in an appearance. "The channel is out to malign the industry. We are famous people. It's a TRP driven exercise," was the refrain among the speakers. Salman Khan said, "I am here for the last 15 years in the industry. How come I don't know that the casting couch exists in our industry?" Govinda said, "How do you know what actually transpired? Varma may have started liking the girl." He may have proposed marriage to her." But when quizzed on why Aman has been shown asking the girl categorically to stay back overnight, Aman merely looked to his left and right for support. After which, all the assembled dignitaries staged a walk out, leaving media persons clueless about Aman's claims of innocence.
