Ravi Rai to launch 'Kashish' on Zee

Ravi Rai, the maker of hugely successful soaps - Sailaab, Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai, Sparsh and Teacher, is back with Kashish, a serial that deals with intense relationships. This serial will be aired by the first week of May on Zee TV on the 10:30 pm slot. The serial will see Simone Singh and Ayub Khan in lead roles. Rai remains one of the few people in the industry who dares to deal with sensitive issues. Sailaab, a story of a woman who has to deal with her husband's infidelity, is portrayed in such a way that the audiences have difficulty in taking sides. In Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai, too he worked around complex relationships. Serials like Kashish could well prove to be a breakaway from the mundane saas-bahu serials that are currently on air.
