What’s stopping Rajesh Khanna from doing Bigg Boss?

It doesn’t get any bigger than this. One big superstar as host while having another as participant. However, that is only if comes through. It’s widely speculated that yesteryear superstar Rajesh Khanna has been offered Bigg Boss 3. The glitch here though is that why would Khanna be part of a show whose host is Amitabh Bachchan? Media reports claim Khanna is very keen to participate in the show. The problem though here is that Khanna is currently doing a Doordarshan show but channel officials are trying hard to woo the superstar into the Bigg Boss house However, we’ve learnt that the mere presence of his b?te noire Amitabh Bachchan deterred Khanna from pursuing his ambitions. Says a source, “It’s no secret that Khanna and Big B aren’t the best of friends especially since it was the latter who dethroned the former as the superstar decades ago. There’s no way that Khanna would be comfortable in a situation where he’s been quizzed by Bachchan. The officials were even willing to arrange for his daily dose of alcohol secretly but Khanna is still not biting.” Rajesh Khanna remained unavailable for comment. Khanna has been living the life of a loner ever since he separated from his wife Dimple Kapadia. Khanna’s fall from grace has been staggering. Personal and professional setbacks have hit him hard. Of late, he’s been more in the news for his alcoholism and romancing girls in B-grade films. Bigg Boss 3 goes on air from 4 October at 9.00 pm
