"Dollie is as clumsy as I am'' - Karishma Randeva

She is the crowned princess of tellydom.She is perhaps the only heroine on Indian telly who continuously manages to embarass not only herself but also those around her with her clumsiness. She plays the lead in Star Plus' fantasy, Princess Dollie Aur Uska Magic Bag. Princess Karishma 'Dollie' Randeva chit chats with Misha Malhotra and shares her experiences of being Dollie. How is it to play the role of dollie in Princess…? To be very honest I was not very happy with the part. But now I am quiet liking the role and its fun to be part of it. How is it different from the earlier Dollie? Earlier the character was very realistic like any other normal girl, but now it is based on fantasy. Why was there a change in the story? Since Hello Dollie had reached a saturation point, and it could not be taken further, it demanded an alteration. How has the character evolved? Character evolves from an awkward teenager to a sophisticated princess. The latter being very confident, responsible and ready to help out people. What did you like in the character Dollie? Well Dollie just reminds me of my school days. I used to care less in terms of what I was wearing and used to have these ugly braces. What changes do you find in yourself both personally and professionally? I haven't changed personally at all. But yes professionally I learnt a lot on the sets of Kahani… itself. Mansi (Verma) and you have been spotted together many a times! We are like the best of friends. And our friendship started on the sets of Kahanii… where we started going out for lunch together at our favourite spot in Aarey colony. When do we hear the wedding bells? Hey, I am still a kid and marriage in not there on my mind yet.
