With Rudra (Gautam Rode) losing his best friend Punnu in Mahakumbh, viewers were left saddened and disheartened. The actor playing the role, Paritosh Tripathi, too is upset on having wrapped up his shoot for the show.
Talking to Tellychakkar.com, the young guy shared, “This team was more than a family for me and I will now miss it terribly. I had the best time shooting with the cast of Mahakumbh and I think this is one of the best shows on TV. Been surrounded by such talented actors, polished my acting capabilities and now am raring to go and start a new stint.”
Talking about the response he received, Paritosh shared, “It was such a tremendous response. I am thrilled at the way people have taken to social networking sites and saying that they won’t watch the show after my death. I am flattered by it completely. And most important the way the girls have been showering their love, I am in seven heavens (blushes).”
The actor who found the role really close to his personal life shared, “I am so much like Punnu in terms of personality. After each shot I used to get the whole team together and make them laugh on my jokes. Also I used to mimic the actors like Surekha Sikri and Payal Rajput leading to some great moments. Now I am actually missing it all.”
And finally when asked about the kind of roles that he would like to do, Paritosh smiled to say, “I am a very filmy guy and anything and everything that has a nice dramatic touch will interest me. Having done so many villainous roles in Crime Patrol I was offered this light role, so am all game for more and more interesting characters. Let’s see what lies ahead in the future.”
Well young man, wish you luck!!!
