I am so good at solving crime cases now, I can join Mumbai police: Kapil Arya

Kapil Arya

Actor Kapil Arya definitely has a special connection with the police. After entertaining viewers with his ‘super cop’ avatar on Life OK’s Shapath, the guy is now back in Laut Aao Trisha...as a cop again!

When we asked him what made him take up a similar role, the actor said, “Now that is a difficult question for sure. But to be honest, I was waiting for a good role after Shapath, but nothing materialised. I couldn’t have sat at home doing nothing. Hence, when I got this opportunity, I decided to give it a try, for even though both are inspectors, the feel of the characters are very different.”

Talking about his new show, Kapil said, “Shapath was more about supernatural, while Trisha has more real crime stories. With the team also being completely different, it is overall a new feeling."

We wondered if he has a previous life connection to being a cop, the actor smiled, “I don’t know about the past life, but this life I am sure I have some relationship with the police. Having done two shows, I feel that the Mumbai police can actually hire me as I have become apt at solving cases!"

When asked what lies ahead in the future, Kapil shared, “Like every actor, to see myself on the big screen, is my dream. As of now, I am hoping that something interesting comes up. Since beggars can’t be choosers, I won’t mention any special genre, for I would like to try various kinds of roles.”

Not many know that Kapil is also a great singer. When we asked what’s happening on that front, the young guy said, "Yes, it is my first love and even though I haven’t got the opportunity to learn guitar professionally, I do take online tips. Also, I take my guitar along when on the sets and play it to rejuvenate myself. But given a chance, I would love to fulfil my long lasting wish of becoming a singer.”

Well wish you luck, Kapil.
