It's not every day that Aamir Khan says he likes you as an actor. And it's certainly a not every day that Amitabh pens a letter with his own hands showering high praise for your acting in a film. This once in a blue moon affair lately happened in the life of Ayushmann Khurrana.
While Amitabh's handwritten note was publicly shared by Ayushmann, Aamir praised the young actor in a recent interview. Sharing his happiness at receiving such high praise, a modest Ayushmann said, "It's overwhelming. When you come to Mumbai as an actor, you just have one person in mind, Amitabh Bachchan. He is like the Sachin Tendulkar of Indian cinema...still not out. None of his contemporaries are in the fray while he is still acting in different roles. To get a letter from him is a huge thing. Aamir praised me and a few of my other colleagues in an interview. All I can say is that it's an overwhelming feeling. "
Ayushmann was speaking at the launch event of his book titled Cracking the Code. Talking about his book, Ayushmann said, "This book is not about my achievements. It's about my struggle. It's very essential to understand oneself from an objective perspective and I have enlisted those points in my book."
Ayushmann's lovely wife Tahira was also present at the launch. Calling Ayushmann the perfect husband, Tahira said, "I can always count on him. When I had gone to USA for a scriptwriting course, he stayed put in our house to take care of our kids."
Now that's a husband every woman would wish for, we say.
