Sony TV’s Aahat (Fireworks Productions) had roped in actor Rushad Rana for an episodic. However, there seems to be a last-minute change in program, as Rushad has backed out owing to health issues.
Now, coming in to play the part of a doctor and a family man will be Yash Pandit who was earlier seen in the fantasy-based show Savitri on Life OK.
Playing his wife will be talented actress Priya Bathija. The story as reported by us, will revolve around a couple and their kids who would shift to a new house. However, the eerie ambience there will make life a living hell for the family, post which the woman in the house will get possessed.
When contacted, Yash Pandit confirmed the news stating, “Yes, I am doing Aahat. I have been keeping busy with my movie commitments; hence episodics now and then keep me busy on TV.”
We hear that Yash will be carrying out his own stunts for Aahat, without the use of a body double.
Priya also told us, “Yes, I will play an interesting character, of course the story line will be intertwined with a lot of spooky element into it.”
