Queen changed the world for Kangana Ranaut. The actress who picked up her second National award for best actress for the movie was today honoured in her home state, Himachal Pradesh for her significant contribution towards Indian cinema. Kangana had spent her childhood and teenage days in Himachal Pradesh growing up and studying in the cool climes of the North Indian state before Bollywood brought her to Mumbai.
And honouring the actress was none other the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Virbhadra Singh. The state is also celebrating Himachal Pradesh day today.
To mark the occasion, a special function was organised and Kangana was invited as the guest of honour. However, owing to her busy professional schedule Kangana had to excuse herself from being present in person.
Kangana's proud and happy parents collected the award on her behalf. With Kangana gearing up for Tanu weds Manu's sequel, we are sure audience will be entertained a lot more this year by this amazing actress.
