Sanjay Leela Bhansali's TV shows on Star Plus and Sony?

We all know that seasoned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has enthralled masses with brilliant films like Black, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Guzaarish is all set to spill his creative genius on the small screen as well, as has been reported in some publications. Now here is some more dope on what the talented director is intending to do: he is planning to produce and creatively guide a TV daily soap/drama each for two channels, namely Star Plus and Sony Entertainment Television. Sanjay has already tasted television blood as a judge on two reality shows. A source close to the director stated that the concerned channels have agreed to loosen their purse strings and hike their budgets keeping in mind the larger than life canvas and extravaganza that Sanjay likes to put into all his creative endeavors. At the time of writing, the story that had been pitched to Star Plus revolves around a middle class Gujarati family with three daughters. The shooting for this particular show will take place in Gujarat. However, details of the Sony story and pitch are not available, and talks with the channel reportedly are at a very preliminary stage.
