Life OK’s super natural mytho-thriller Mahakumbh from the home production of Arvind Babbal has finally bid adieu to its viewers yesterday (9 July). With a new concept, excellent cinematography and fine script the finite series promised to deliver something unusual to audience. And so it did rightly. As the final episode of the drama was aired last night, we give you five reasons why we will miss the show. Take a look…
Gautam Rode
In this fantasy thriller we saw Gautam Rode in a never before avatar. Deviating from his classy, rich, educated characters, he donned the role of a young rugged and knowledgeable man, and he did it with élan. And not to forget he looked hotter than ever, especially with his Garuda tattoo on his back.
Stellar starcast
With a bunch of NSD pass-outs like Ram Gopal Bajaj, Mohan Maharishi, Seema Biswas, Vineet Kumar, Surekha Sikri, and few theatre veterans like Ketki Dave and Manish Wadhwa, what else can you expect than power packed performances, which will leave you ask for some more. Kudos to the entire team!!!
Enchanting plot
Set in the mythological backdrop, the show was a perfect fusion of mythological thriller and science fiction. And continuous twists in plot made the entire drama an interesting watch for audience.
Action sequence
With a National level gymnast like Siddharth Nigam present in few initial episodes of the show, viewers witnessed some high octane action sequences. And later on Gautam Rode carried on with Siddharth’s legacy with equal grace. Not to forget Rahil Azzam playing the apt comrade-in-arms to make the action scenes notable moments.
High production value
Arvind Babbal’s debut venture on television surely made sure that behind the camera crew was equally efficient as the actors in the team. From fast pace direction to crisp editing to perfect cinematography, Mahakumbh concentrated on every single detail making the show an authentic one. We appreciate the effort of the creative team for that.
