Harnessing the power of digital, Salman Khan Films (SKF) and music-and-movies house T-Series have rolled out, exclusively on hotstar, the video premiere of the most awaited romantic song of the year, Main Hoon Hero Tera, sung by superstar Salman Khan, for the film Hero starring Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. Starting 6 pm on Thursday the 6th of August, the full song is available exclusively to the entire user base of hotstar -- the fastest growing digital content platform which has had nearly 25 million downloads.
The exclusive-to-hotstar video features footage of Salman Khan singing the song in the recording studio, intercut with high emotional, drama and action points from the much awaited film produced by SKF and Mukta Arts, set to release on Friday, the 11th of September.
Thanks to its massive reach, film producers are increasingly looking at hotstar as a preferred choice of releasing premium content to the important young audiences.
Main Hoon Hero Tera, sung by Salman Khan, has been composed by young music director Amaal Malik, who is the nephew of Anu Malik. The video of Salman Khan singing Main Hoon Hero Tera will remain exclusive to hotstar for over two days, till midnight of Saturday.
The exclusive video of the song on hotstar comes right after the brand’s alliances with other films such as the blockbuster Tanu Weds Manu Returns and the multistarrer hit Dil Dhadakne Do, and the forthcoming comic caper Bangistan, which also has hotstar as a digital partner for its marketing initiatives ahead of its nationwide release on Friday the 7th of August.
