Utkarsha Naik 'urges' all 'dog lovers' to protest against mass stray dog killing

Actress Utkarsha Naik is a true ‘dog’ lover!! And her heart bleeds at the recent episode of ‘mass killing of stray dogs’ in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

In order to protest against this move, Utkarsha has called all her ‘animal lover’ friends to unite for the cause, and voice their opinion.

Says Utkarsha, “This is a very inhuman act. If you log in to Facebook, there are many pictures uploaded of the mass stray dog killing. It is so saddening to see all this. I have always been a great lover of dogs, and I have done my bit in Mumbai to stop the mass killing.”

Utkarsha announces that she will stage a protest at the Samarth Vaibhav Circle in Lokhandwala, Mumbai this Saturday (29 August) to protest against this act.

Utkarsha adds in, “Yes, I have decided to call in for a protest this Saturday. I will surely spread the word to the whole of the industry. There are many dog lovers like me in the industry, and I am sure they will also voice their support against this painful act.”

Naming a few celebrities, the actress states, “Jaya Bhattacharya is a true dog lover. My co-actor in Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Pallavi Rao will also lend support. I urge and call all Mumbaikers who are animal lovers to join this mission. Let’s stop this unruly act in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.”
