It's that time of the year when popular shows are being delegated to time slots that belies their so called 'popular' status. Kkusum, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin are shows that once were channel drivers, but have since been slotted to a not so respectable time slot. According to our sources, the next in line is Zee's Sarrkkar, which will be relegated to the afternoon slot soon.
Producer Manish Goswami neither denied it nor conformed the news. The stars of the show seemed puzzled by the turn of events.

"Yes I am kind of aware, but nothing is finalised as yet. Even if it happens I will be ok with it. I won't opt out of such a great serial for this reason," says Rohit Roy who plays Karan in the show.
Moulli Ganguly sounded lost, when we broke the news to her. "I am just returning from Sarrkkar's shoot. I have no clue about it. I would not like to comment on it as of now, as I don't really know I will be happy or sad about this!" says Moulli. Shweta Salve seemed unperturbed by the change - "Now the show will have a different audience base!" she says.
"Nothing has been finalized, a decision is yet to be taken," says Ashwini Yardi, the programming head of Zee. But later she denied that a time slot change was on the cards. "No, Sarrkkar is not going to be shifted to any other time. There is nothing happening," says Ashwini.
As Sarrkkar has a political setup and also saw the Roy brothers together for the first time, the channel must have anticipated a good response, but one thing is certain, that it is working wonders for its overseas audience as the team was seen in Middle East a few months ago.
