Pawan "Siddhant" Shankar did a good job on the lawyer show for Star One and followed it up with a role in Smriti Z Irani's Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasmaan and finally played a do-gooder taxi driver in Vicky Ki Taxi. He is now all set to woo you on the big screen.
Rakshas, a short film, directed by Alok Naik, and starring him along with Divya Jagdale has been selected in the Indian panorama section for the Goa Film Fest which is set to take place from 23 November to 3 December.
The actor says the experience of working with director Alok - who once assisted Sudhir Misra - was "fantabulous" as he knew what he wanted out of him. He further adds: "The film is related to the changes that takes place from childhood to the time when you grow up…from innocence to evil (rakshas) in you."
The choosy actor points out that he is concentrating on film offers, apart from helping his lovely wife Yukti expand her exhibition business. "I will only take up a TV role if role is good and the character is very demanding," he says.
Hopefully, some producer or casting professional will heed his creative demand.
