14th #IndianTellyAwards: VOTE now- Best Actor in a Lead Role

Best Actor in a Lead Role

Why should women have all the fun, eh? Yes, that’s exactly why we have put together a list of TV’s dashing men who can walk away with the grand title this awards season. Which actor has it in him to be the Best Actor? Let’s find out, shall we?

Karan Patel as Raman (Yeh Hai Mohabbatein):
With his brooding good looks and intense acting, he has won us all over. Whether it’s his disturbing equation with his ex-wife or his cute moments with his current wife, the actor makes every scene work. Of course that’s the mark of a star!

Anas Rashid as Sooraj (Diya Aur Baati Hum):
To play second fiddle to his ambitious wife without losing his importance is rather tough. But Anas passes this daring test with flying colours. He knows when to underplay and when to dial it up. And yes, that’s how you roll!

Shakti Arora as Ranvir (Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi):
His complicated love story, peppered with many mood swings and battles, has made him a game-changer on TV. He can love, avenge, scheme and be devoted with equal ease. Whoa!

Ronit Roy as Neil (Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar):
When you’re known as the Amitabh Bachchan of the small screen, you’re already a winner. No? With his booming voice, natural acting and immense maturity that comes with experience, Ronit is the guy of all seasons!

Ssharad Malhotra as Pratap (Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap):
He not only looks great on the small screen, but also acts like a pro. His ability to switch between drama and romance is praise-worthy. It’s no wonder that he could be the dark horse of this race. Betting on him, yet?

Ravi Dubey as Sid (Jamai Raja):
With so many women-related shows, it’s rather a feat to be the only male ‘lead’. Trust Ravi to take it in his stride and deliver big time as the ultimate son-in-law. It also helps that he is super cute and charming.

Shabbir Ahluwalia as Abhi (Kumkum Bhagya):
His personality is enough to make women swoon over him, and what really tips the scales in his favour is his realistic acting. He definitely adds the right tadka to this daily drama. What say, folks?
