Rajesh Puri joins the cast of Parvarrish

DJ’s A Creative Unit’s new offering Parvarrish-Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi on Sony is hogging all the limelight through its promos. And after roping in talented actors like Shweta Tiwari, Vivek Mushran, Rupali Ganguly and Vishal Singh, the makers have now decided to cast veteran actor Rajesh Puri –who was last seen in Lapataganj – in an important role. Rajesh will play Shweta Tiwari’s and Rupali Ganguly’s father in the series that deals with parenting and the relationship between kids and parents. Shweta and Rupali will be seen playing sisters for the first time on the small screen. “I am part of the show but I can’t divulge any details about my character,” says Rajesh. Rajesh has started shooting for Parvarrish. The show is expected to go on air from 21 November 2011, coinciding with the Rose Audio Visuals series Dekha Ek Khwaab.
