Welcome to the wildly fictionalized real world of the Indian TV star.
The biggest names in TV get together to present a crazy take on their lives and the world of daily soaps at the risk of pissing off the world to which they belong.
Nakuul Mehta, with his best buddies Alekh Sangal and Ram Menon, takes us on a rollercoaster ride into the behind-the-scenes drama, power struggles and pure madness of the TV industry. Supported by a stellar cast of popular TV faces like Drashti Dhami, Karan Patel, Rithvik Dhanjani, Kritika Kamra, Rajeev Masand and Karan Wahi, IDWT promises to be the most outrageous show about TV, off TV.
Arré rather pointedly makes its launch with a show called IDWT for a generation that’s swiftly moving to digital for it’s dose of entertainment. And, really, who can blame them?
The first season of IDWT will be a weekly series consisting of five episodes and is scheduled for release in early March on YouTube and Arré. IDWT is produced by Nakuul Mehta’s Timbuktu Films and directed by Ajay Singh.
