Back on small screen with Ekta Kapoors’ supernatural thriller drama Naagin (Colors), one of the first and most prominent vamps of television, Sudha Chandran, is way too content with the success of the series.
Basking into the popularity and the success of the number game, Sudha mentions that she believes that television Czarina, Ekta Kapoor is indeed a trend setter.
Praising the ruling lady of TRP charts, Sudha in a conversation with Tellychakkar.com stated, “Ekta has the capability to change a trend and set a new one. What makes Ekta so efficient is her ability to tell a story in a convincing manner. Ekta has the vision of breaking the monotony on television”.
“Ekta was the one who introduced path breaking series like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kaahin Kissii Roz and many others. Then a time came when television became over showered by such shows. Then she introduced a mature love story like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and now, her latest strength is supernatural dramas, like Naagin”, added Sudha.
So, what do you think is the reason behind Naagin’s success? Sudha paused for a while and replied, “I think the right casting has made the story even more convincing. Moreover, the series being a finite one, has generated lots of interest among the audience, as audiences now want to watch some more story of the characters’ life”.
