Shweta retains the tantrum queen tag

Seems Shweta Tiwari, who became a house hold name with Balaji’s Kasutii Zindagi Kay, has still not got over the fame her show bought. Her claim-to-fame show went off air long back yet the lady has her nose in the air. Time and again there had been reports during the Kasautii days about Shweta’s starry attitude. And now the latest on that front is from the sets of her new show, Sony’s Comedy Circus- Teen Ka Tadka where she forms a team with Anoup Soni and comedian Rehman. If sources are to be believed the lady has been giving a tough time to the co-contestants and unit members of the show. Buzz is that Shweta reports hours late as per her convenience on the sets, yells at trivial issues, doesn’t mingle with other contestants, refuses to rehearse and so on. She behaves like a queen and treats people as if they are inferior to her. A source puts in, “Yes it is true that Shweta Tiwari is a giving tough time to the concerned people on the sets. She reports hours late on the sets and she is not very interested when it comes to rehearsals”. The source adds, “Last week, she was supposed to report early in the morning, but chose to come in only after noon. Since she was unavailable, the other contestants gave their shots and Shweta was made to wait for some time. This made her furious and she ordered the unit members to hasten up as she was getting late”. Tiwari is not only rude; she also ill-treats the unit members. She’s on her phone for long hours and keeps others waiting. A contestant requesting anonymity says, “You know we pray that no one calls her while she is giving her takes. Once she’s hooked to her phone, it seems there’s no coming back. In one particular act she had to be dressed as a TV reporter and for that she was required to don a wig. But she refused to do so as it didn’t appeal to her. The lady had to be convinced and in the due process the shoot had to be halted for quite some time”. However co-contestant Smita Singh denies the buzz. “I don’t know who is spreading these rumors as it’s all untrue. Initially I had a different picture of Shweta in my mind but after meeting her I realized I was wrong. She is the most humble and down to earth person. Apart from being a fantastic actor, she is very amiable and one of the loveliest people I have ever met.” We tried calling Shweta Tiwari and her co-actor Anoup Soni but they were unavailable for comments.
