My 'sanskaari' image is a myth: Alok 'Babuji' Nath

Alok Nath, a known name in the film and television industry is one of the finest actors in the country. More than his shows, the veteran actor is known for portraying the roles of 'sanskaari babuji', which he is all set to break with Raghu Ram and Rajeev Laxman’s new show Sinskaari. Giving up and challenging his established image, Nath is all set to try something contradictory to his persona. But, without regretting, Nath seems to be eager to embrace his new avatar. “The image of being sanskaari is nothing but a myth, which a certain section of audience has created for their purpose of entertainment.” “At the final stage of my career I wanted to hang my boots and thought of playing with my established image. And on my part breaking the stereotype was an intentional decision”, added Nath. The format of Sinskaari will show that the makers tricked Alok Nath to host the show. Like his on screen character even the man himself is not sure about how he will be accepted among audience. “I have no idea how my so called followers are going to receive this new role of mine. I am aware that the entire process might backfire on me. But, I am ready to push myself and challenge me”. Nath, who is sporting enough to get trolled on social media stating that everyone possess the right to voice their thought, also believes that his new venture will not contain adult contents. “Though the script contains double meaning jokes, one can’t really term it to be adult contents. If a kid of 7th or 9th standard is being taught about human biology and reproduction system, then subtle, dual standard jokes cannot be termed as adult content”.
