Well, the world has moved a long way from there and today there is no apprehension among youngsters in having buddies of both genders.
But if you are a celebrity, there is bound to create a buzz if you are seen with someone from the other sex.
This is what has recently happened with the popular Sehban Azim and Jennifer Winget.
With the two sharing a great camaraderie, people have been recently talking about something brewing between them. An online portal also carried a story about them dating each other.
But the two, who do not shy away from hanging out together or posting pictures although left amazed at the rumours have decided to ignore it.
Shared a friend close to Sehban and Jennifer, “I do not understand how people can just go about publishing such stories without any verification. They have been friends for a long time and it is utterly disturbing to see such stories.”
Sehban interestingly is also good friends with Jennifer’s ex husband, Karan Singh Grover.
When we buzzed the young man he said, “I am not dating Jenny and all these are mere speculations of some creative minds. I do not understand that in this progressive world why can’t one let two people be just friends. I think this is the last time I will be talking about this to end it once and for all. We are really good friends and I don’t think such stupid rumours will ever affect our bond.”
